About Compassionate Nursing Care

Get to know who we are

Compassionate Nursing Care brings local experience and a personal approach to everyday assistance, community nursing and independent living in Mount Isa and surrounding North West Queensland communities.

A personal approach to care

We learn exactly who you are

The things that make you, you, matter to us. Your interests, your relationships, the traditions you value and the ambitions you hold all have a place in how we get to know you.

At Compassionate Nursing Care, we listen before we plan. We want to understand what brings you joy, what you’d like to change and where you’d welcome a helping hand. From there, we work together to shape support that feels right for your life, with room for your priorities to grow and change.

Meet the people behind us

Experience with purpose

Our director, Kerry Faye Piasecki, brings practical experience in nursing, disability and community support across Mount Isa and remote North West Queensland. As a Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse Consultant and Diabetes Educator, she brings clinical knowledge to a team focused on each participant’s goals and choices.

Our support workers have experience in personal support, daily living, community access and Supported Independent Living. We value what each person contributes  including the knowledge that participants, families and carers bring from their own lives. Working together helps us turn an understanding of your needs into meaningful everyday support.

Empowerment and choice

We encourage you to explore your options, make your own decisions and pursue goals that mean something to you. Your voice guides the way forward.

Dignity and respect

We respect your privacy, personal boundaries, culture and identity. That respect extends to how we speak with you and provide assistance in your daily life.

Trust and integrity

We aim to build trust through honest conversations, clear information and reliable support. We’re open about what we can offer and take responsibility for our work.

Person-centred support

We take time to understand your strengths, preferences and communication needs, then work with you to plan support that fits your circumstances.

Inclusion, innovation and continuous improvement

We welcome different perspectives and ideas. By listening to feedback and exploring better ways of working, we aim to make support more inclusive and responsive.

The fundamentals of who we are

The principles behind everything we do

Our values guide the everyday decisions that shape your experience with us. How we listen, how we work together and how we respond to what matters to you.

Looking for support that gets you?

We welcome enquiries and referrals from participants and the people involved in their support.
